Boys Basketball: Motzel leads way as Carmel snaps losing streak

A timely win.
Carmel’s boys basketball team snapped a five-game losing streak on Tuesday night, when it knocked off visiting Nazareth 71-50.
Brandon Motzel sparked the Corsairs (8-13) with a 19-point performance. Joe Molloy connected on four three-pointers to score 15 points, while Andy Kantor added 10 points.
The Corsairs also received help from Zennen Davis-McKennie (8 points), Ian Kristan (8 points) and Billy Kirby (7 points).
Carmel has the weekend off. It will travel to Joliet Catholic on Monday.
