The Event: Tails of nearly 600 stray and abandoned animals of Lake and northern Cook counties wagged a little higher on April 22 when more than 190 animal lovers attended the 13th annual Orphans of the Storm benefit at Marriott’s Lincolnshire Resort. The Event: Giordano Dance Chicago celebrated 50 years of enriching the lives of Chicagoans and the world through dance and performance art on March 23.
