National Honor Society news
Sixty-seven Mundelein High School juniors and seniors will be inducted into the National Honor Society at a ceremony at 7 p.m. Oct. 29 in the Mundelein High School Auditorium.
Inductees were chosen by a five-member Faculty Council based on their performance in four areas: scholarship, character, leadership and service.
In addition to the awards presentation, the ceremony will include keynote speaker Randall Lerner, an MHS math instructor. Superintendent Jody Ware and Principal Lauren Fagel will host the event.
The 67 new members of NHS include: Janine Abuyuan, Jacki Alberts, Amber Appel, Oscar Araiza-Brave, Dominique Areola, Jason Begrowicz, Aimee Benish, Zach Brown, John Brueckbauer, Caroline Bullington, Adam Cabrera, Michael Carroll, Steven Chin, Adina Cianciotto, Ariana Cristino, Erica Cuasay, Connie Dimick, Shannon Doering and Kristin Doering.
Brianna Doyle, Ryan Eifert, Claire Erickson, David Ervin, Dave Everding, Courteney Fabbri, Nicholas Filippo, Kevin Franz, Katylyn Frew, Shannon Gray, Elizabeth Grein, Nicholas Grigsby, Anna Heppert and Henry Holmes.
