MHS will unviel the new football field and track at an Open House on Aug. 7

New football field, track to be unveiled
An open house to showcase the new football field and track will be held at Mundelein High School on Aug. 7 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Mustang Stadium. All area residents are invited to attend.
Following an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, hosted by Board of Education President Karen Havlik and Superintendent Jody Ware, those in attendance will be welcome to get a first-hand look at the new grounds and even take a walk or run around the new track.
Construction began on the athletic field immediately after the final home football game last fall. The track was also part of that project.
