Mundelein Police Blotter for June 11

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Mundelein Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

MUNDELEIN

CRIMINAL SEXUAL
ASSAULT

George M. Buliga, 40, of 36 N. Ridgemoor, Mundelein, was charged with criminal sexual assault (family member under the age of 18) and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Subject was investigated for allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct with a juvenile, reports say. Subject was interviewed and charged. He was remanded to the Lake County Jail on $50,000 bond. A court date is to be announced.

DUI

Jose I. Escobar, 40, of 401 Chestnut St., Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI (BAC over .08), improper lane usage and no drivers license on May 29 at U.S. Route 45 and Hawthorne Blvd. Subject was stopped for improper lane usage. Officer observed signs of intoxication, field sobriety tests were offered and subject was arrested, reports say. He was released on a $3,000 recognizance bond pending a June 15 court date in Mundelein.

Margaret A. Rosenfield, 54, of 929 Noel, Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI (BAC over .08) and improper lane usage on May 29 at Illinois Route 176 and Blue Spruce. Subject was stopped for improper lane usage. Officer observed signs of intoxication, field sobriety tests were offered and subject was arrested, reports say. She posted her drivers license and was released on a $1,000 recognizance bond pending a July 6 court date in Waukegan.
