Mundelein Police Blotter for May 24

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Mundelein Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

DUI
David Dominguez, 19, of 428 W. Fielding Lane, Round Lake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI (BAC over .08), consumption of liquor by a minor and possession of liquor by a minor on May 13 in the 100 block of West Hawthorne Boulevard. Reports say officer observed a suspicious vehicle stopped on the side of the roadway with two people seated in the vehicle. Officers approached the vehicle and noticed an open bottle of alcohol in the front seat area. Officer made contact with the driver and observed signs of intoxication, field sobriety tests were performed and as a result of those tests the subject was arrested, reports say. He was released on a recognizance bond pending a June 8 court date in Waukegan.
Emily C. Runyon, 19, of 34025 N. Gerwal Ave., Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of liquor, consumption of liquor by a minor and possession of a fraudulent ID following a traffic stop on May 17 at Route 45 and Motorola Parkway. Officer observed a vehicle speeding. Officer conducted a traffic stop and observed signs of intoxication, reports say. Field sobriety tests were performed and as a result of those tests the subject was arrested. Subject was also found to be in possession of a fake ID, open alcohol and drug paraphernalia, reports say. She posted her driver’s license and was released on a recognizance bond pending a June 8 court date in Waukegan.
