Pet of the Week: Davidson loves to cuddle, listen

Davidson, a handsome little black Schipperke who was found abandoned in a restroom at a rest stop, is waiting for his permanent home.
Schipperkes are adorable little dogs (he weighs around 14 pounds) who, because of their black coat, do not photograph well. He really is adorable in person!
Davidson doesn’t ask for much – a permanent home and a loving family. Right now he is living peacefully with several cats and he ignores them. He loves to sleep on the bed, but most of all he just loves to get attention.
Davidson (adopters will have permission to change his name!) is really an “instant” dog. He is housebroken, quiet (almost never barks), and he listens.
He does love to cuddle, he walks nicely on a leash and he gets along with everyone he meets.
When Davidson was found he had not been well cared for. He had several rotted teeth which were removed and now he has a gleaming smile and he eats well. He is healthy – just biding his time until the right family comes along.
