Murray is an adorable, happy, sweet, and friendly three-year-old, 43-pound male shepherd-mix looking for a loving home.

He is a great guy who gets along really well with select dogs. When he knows you, he lets you do anything to him (according to Bonnie, the owner of Lucky Dog Pet Service where Murray is staying).

Murray was found in an abandoned home in Gary, Ind. He must have been loved and cared for prior to his abandonment because he has basic training and is sociable. Murray is housebroken, crate-trained, sits automatically if he thinks you have a treat, knows the command down, walks well on leash, and rides nicely in the car.

He has the perfect amount of energy. He loves going for walks and playing ball, but settles down nicely in the home and enjoys a cuddle.

Murray gets along with most dogs, cats, rabbits, and people. He is recommended for a home with dog-experienced adults because he has some fear issues. He’s otherwise such a great dog and he will do well with someone who will continue his training and keep him safe.

Murray is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. If you are interested in adopting Murray, please call Bonnie at (773) 866-2206 or (883) 484-5926.
