Updated: October 7, 2012 6:36AM

The following incidents were listed in the weekly bulletin prepared by the Mundelein Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Burglary

Oscar Loeza-Herrera, 18, of 528 Hawley St., Mundelein, was arrested Aug. 28 on the 500 block of Hawley Street and charged with residential burglary and resisting a police officer.

According to the police report, a resident told police she observed Loeza-Herrera in her home. The man fled, and jewelry was subsequently reported missing.

The police report states that the victim confronted Loeza-Herrera at his home and the jewelry was returned.

The female victim called police, the report states, after Loeza-Herrera ran after her. Police ultimately observed Loeza-Herrera and made the arrest after a short chase.

Loeza-Herrera was transported to a bond hearing Aug. 29. His next court date was not provided. ~.
