American Cancer Society’s 30th annual tennis event was held on May 9, at various North Shore clubs. Ninety-three women played, with the luncheon and raffle being held at the Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield.
More than $20,000 was raised through participation, raffle tickets, silent auction items and donations. Raffle and silent auction table included items from Joshe, Fresh Ideas and Strength Time. Major donors included Mary Carrigan, Morgan Stanley, Smith, Barney and centerpieces were donated by Glenbrook Landscaping in Northbrook.
Event chairs were Sharon Farrell of Northbrook, Eve Paschen of Winnetka and Kristen Erickson of Glenview.
