GLMV Chamber of Commerce seeks new director

LIBERTYVILLE — The GLMV Chamber of Commerce is searching for a new executive director after Alese Campbell took a job with one of the chamber members.
Now the general manager of Shaw Media’s Lake County office, Campbell had been with the chamber for two years and was praised for boosting membership and modernizing the GLMV Chamber’s website.
The GLMV Chamber’s board of directors was expected to meet on Tuesday, Nov. 13, and decide upon a hiring process and timeline.
In a letter to its membership, the board said all GLMV Chamber services and events will continue as scheduled.
Carol Levin, the GLMV Chamber director of public relations and marketing, was given a vote of confidence and charged with filling in where needed. Levin has been with the chamber for more than 10 years.
